14-county region designated as a Rural Area of Critical Concern. The project aims to jump-start economic development in the region and advance education, healthcare and other sectors increasingly dependent on high-speed connectivity. The counties that will benefit are Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Putnam, Suwannee, Taylor and Union.
